Job summary

PK Education is recruiting a dedicated SENCO Assistant to join a School in Coventry for an immediate start. You will support SEND provision across the school and help coordinate EHCPs and IEPs, contributing to an inclusive learning environment.

The role offers daily pay of £140–£180, with ongoing support from a friendly team and a focus on safeguarding and pupil progress. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in vulnerable learners' lives in Coventry.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SEND, EHCPs and inclusive education.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Caring, patient and proactive approach with pupil welfare in mind.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the coordination and delivery of SEND provision across the school
• Assisting with EHCPs, IEPs and student support documentation
• Monitoring student progress and coordinating targeted interventions
• Supporting students with diverse learning, communication and social-emotional needs
• Liaising with teaching staff, parents and external professionals
• Maintaining SEND records and supporting reviews and meetings
• Helping create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
