Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory SEND requirements and maintain accurate records.

Position Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated SENDCo to join our team on a 0.4 contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and coordinating provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring that all pupils receive high-quality, inclusive support that enables them to achieve their best.

The SENDCo will work closely with the Headteacher, staff, families and external agencies to promote effective identification, assessment and provision for pupils with SEND, in line with the SEND Code of Practice. This role is both strategic and operational, with a focus on improving outcomes and inclusion across the school.

Key responsibilities include:
