Location: Bracknell & Wokingham, Berkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time or part-time (flexible working considered)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience + SEN allowance
Role Level: Includes element of SLT and teaching responsibility

Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a forward-thinking, inclusive school in the Bracknell and Wokingham area looking to appoint a qualified SENCO to start in September.

This is a flexible role that includes both strategic leadership responsibilities and teaching commitments, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for pupils with special educational needs.

  • Lead on all aspects of SEND provision across the school

  • Work closely with SLT, class teachers, and external professionals

  • Manage EHCP processes, interventions, and progress tracking

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to support targeted groups or classes

  • Influence whole-school inclusion strategy and staff development

  • Participate in senior leadership meetings and strategic planning

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National SENCO Award (or working towards)

  • Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar leadership capacity

  • Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills

  • A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive education
