Salary: Competitive, based on experience + SEN allowance
Role Level: Includes element of SLT and teaching responsibility
Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a forward-thinking, inclusive school in the Bracknell and Wokingham area looking to appoint a qualified SENCO to start in September.
This is a flexible role that includes both strategic leadership responsibilities and teaching commitments, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for pupils with special educational needs.
Lead on all aspects of SEND provision across the school
Work closely with SLT, class teachers, and external professionals
Manage EHCP processes, interventions, and progress tracking
Deliver high-quality teaching to support targeted groups or classes
Influence whole-school inclusion strategy and staff development
Participate in senior leadership meetings and strategic planning
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National SENCO Award (or working towards)
Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar leadership capacity
Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive education
Flexible working pattern (full-time or part-time considered)
A supportive leadership team and experienced staff body
