Job summary

Hillingdon Manor School is seeking a Therapies Assistant to support Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists in a cross-disciplinary team. You will work closely with education staff to deliver assessments and tailored interventions for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

You will contribute to communication and sensory profiles, assist with placement planning, and help facilitate training and multi-agency meetings while developing evidence-based practices under qualified

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with special educational needs.
• Able to work independently under supervision of qualified clinicians.
• Collaborate with therapy and education teams to support pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based assessments and interventions under supervision.
• Contribute to communication and sensory profiles and placement plans.
• Observe, co-facilitate staff training and attend multi-agency meetings.
• Support development of bespoke interventions for pupils with SEN.
