Job summary

Outcomes First Group is recruiting a Therapies Assistant to support Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists for pupils at Wetheringsett Manor School. You will assist with assessments, create profiles, and help deliver tailored interventions under the supervision of clinicians.

You will work with the education team to support pupils and families, attend meetings, and contribute to ongoing service development. A driving licence and the ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with special educational needs.
• Independently motivated while working under supervision.
• Ability to develop bespoke interventions for complex pupils.

Responsibilities

• Observations and co-facilitating staff training.
• Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to service development.
• Create communication and sensory profiles and placement plans.
• Deliver a range of interventions under supervision.
• Support pupils to engage in meaningful activities and interactions.
