Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Nursery/EYFS pupil on a 1:1 basis within an Autism Resource Provision in Waltham Forest.

You are responsible for supporting the pupil's learning, development and wellbeing, including personal care where required, and you will work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team to ensure consistent, nurturing support. Flexible working requests may be considered where possible within school needs.

Qualifications

• EYFS qualification and SEN experience required.
• Experience supporting children with autism beneficial.
• Ability to work 1:1 with a pupil within ARP setting.

Responsibilities

• Support pupil's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Provide personal care where required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent support.

EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Required for a 1:1 Role within an Autism Resource Provision

Location: Waltham Forest

Contract: Full Time - 5 days per week

Salary: £100-£110 per day, depending on experience and qualifications

Start Date: Immediate Start

Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week. Flexible working requests may be considered where they can be accommodated within the requirements of the role and provision.

Are you passionate about working within Early Years and SEN? Here at Tradewind, we are looking for a dedicated and nurturing EYFS professional to join our team, supporting a Nursery/EYFS pupil on a 1:1 basis within an Autism Resource Provision (ARP).

You will be responsible for supporting the pupil's learning, development and wellbeing, including providing personal care where required. You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team to ensure the pupil receives consistent, nurturing and appropriate support.

We welcome applications from candidates looking for a full-time EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity. While this role is currently advertised as 5 days per week, any requests for flexible working will be considered in line with current legislation and the requirements of the role and school.

What We Are Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in EYFS would be advantageous
• Teaching Assistant experience, particularly within SEN settings
• Experience supporting children with autism or additional needs would be advantageous
• Someone flexible, adaptable and able to support pupils independently
• A loyal, committed and caring approach
• Someone passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
