Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Teacher Training Available

Location: Ealing

Are you a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a new position in Ealing? Do you have a keen interest in supporting the educational journey of students with special educational needs (SEN)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant at our Academy school located in Ealing.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them with their academic and social development.
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Supporting students during classroom activities, ensuring they are fully engaged and able to participate to the best of their abilities.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and recording the progress of students with SEN, and providing feedback to the teaching team.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of all students.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
