We are seeking a full-time teaching assistant for KS1 and KS2 who has experience supporting students with additional needs within the classroom. Your role involves collaborating with the class teacher to provide the necessary support, fostering student independence, and encouraging social inclusion. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and motivating learning environment, working with a welcoming, collaborative department that values co-planning and best practices to ensure consistency across classrooms.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students requiring extra support, confidence in teaching materials, and the ability to plan effectively. Familiarity with the current curriculum and understanding students' support needs are essential. Candidates should be capable of implementing behavioural and emotional management strategies, adopting relevant teaching approaches, and supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Confidence in resourcefulness and goal-oriented planning is also important.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanency.
