Job description

Pertemps Education is recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in the Wandsworth area of South West London. This is a full-time, temporary position, working from Monday to Friday during term time. The successful candidate will work with primary and secondary-aged children with various special needs including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. The hours are from 8.30am to 4.00pm. This role offers an immediate start, with flexibility for those available in September 2025.

The school is situated in a residential, leafy part of Wandsworth, easily accessible by public transport, with available on and off-street parking. It is a large, outstanding special needs school with a supportive leadership team. The school regularly organizes trips, including outdoor activity centers and visits to local farms. The environment is bright and colorful, equipped with multi-sensory resources.

Some personal care responsibilities are involved. The ideal SEN TA will have prior experience working in a special needs environment, which can be with children or adults.
