Aspire People is seeking a Psychology graduate to join a specialist school in Royston/Meldreth, Hertfordshire as an SEN Teaching Assistant. You will support children aged 6-19 with autism, ADHD, and SEMH, delivering 1:1 and small-group sessions while promoting communication and independence.

The role is full-time, term-time only (8:30am-4:30pm), with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive learning environment and including opportunities for funded training and career development.

Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Royston / Meldreth, Hertfordshire

Salary: £22,996-£25,068 per annum (actual salary, depending on experience)

Hours: Full Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:30pm (40 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care?

This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. You'll work within a specialist school alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children and young people aged 6-19 with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
