Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Kidderminster, starting in September 2026.
The school is looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across the primary age range.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and wants to make a genuine difference to their learning, confidence and development. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the school's SEN team to provide additional support to pupils who require extra help with their learning and development.
The school is particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary school or similar setting. Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, behavioural needs, communication difficulties or other additional needs would be advantageous. Candidates who have worked in a school, nursery, care, youth work or other child-focused setting are also encouraged to apply.
Relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
