Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their full potential?
Smile Education is currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Yardley who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for the right candidate, offering the chance to become a valued member of the school's support team.
The school would ideally like to hear from candidates with experience or knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), although this is desirable rather than essential.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the school's wider support team to provide tailored support to students with additional needs.
You may be supporting students with communication and speech and language needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence and engage positively with school life.
If you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with a background in SALT, speech and language, SEND or youth support, we'd love to hear from you.
