Job summary

Smile Education are seeking a Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large 2 form entry school in Worcester. The role is either 2 full days per week or 5 mornings per week, long term with the potential to go permanent.

You will support pupils on a 1:1 basis or with small group interventions, build strong relationships with children, staff and families, and maintain open communication with the class teacher to monitor progress and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups
• Strong communication with staff and families

Responsibilities

• Encouraging independence within the class and with students
• Develop and build relationships with children, staff and families
• Maintain consistent communication with the class teacher about progress
• Create a secure and positive learning environment for pupils
