Job summary

The Link Academy Trust is seeking a part-time teaching assistant to support a pupil with complex educational needs. This fixed-term post involves in-class support with tailored interventions, building positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and promoting wellbeing within a nurturing, collaborative team.

You should have GCSE English and Maths, a caring, initiative-driven approach, and previous experience in a school setting, ideally with SEN.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths to GCSE A-C or equivalent.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support with tailored interventions for a pupil with complex needs.
• Work as part of a team with school staff and teaching colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and supportive boundaries.
• Demonstrate initiative and creativity in delivering activities and interventions.
