Job summary

Academics in Runcorn is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for full-time, long and short-term placements at a range of schools. You will support pupils with additional needs and build inclusive learning environments.

You will work with teachers to provide one-to-one and small-group support, including pupils with autism and ADHD, helping them engage with activities and develop confidence. The role offers flexible opportunities from daily to long-term placements, with safeguarding checks

Qualifications

• Some previous experience working with children or young people
• An understanding of Autism and ADHD
• A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
• Excellent communication skills

• Supporting pupils with learning, communication and personal development
• Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support
