Job summary

Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in a mainstream academy school in Runcorn.

This role is full-time and ongoing with potential to become permanent for the right candidate, starting September 2026. You will bring KS2 experience, SEN background and confident behaviour management to support learning, social development and emotional well-being throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a KS2 setting is essential.
• Previous SEN experience is essential.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Patient, resilient and nurturing in your approach.
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
