Job summary

Hays Education is recruiting for a specialist SEN school in Coventry, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs through classroom, 1:1 and small-group interventions.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm with a temporary to permanent contract, weekly pay, competitive rates and dedicated support from a specialist SEN recruitment consultant, providing a rewarding environment to make a difference every day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• A passion for supporting pupils with SEN.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support, 1:1 support and small-group interventions to help pupils achieve academic, social and personal development goals.
