Job summary

Kingsbury Primary School in Skelmersdale is inviting applications for a Level 2B Teaching Assistant to support a play-based curriculum and nurture holistic development in diverse learners. The role is part-time, term-time only, with pro-rata salary arrangements as noted.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) experience.
• Experience in working with children with a range of needs would be preferred.
• A passion for creative learning and a commitment to a holistic approach to education.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the teaching in developing and implementing a play-based curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of children, including those with GLD and complex autism.
• Support the Teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Foster a holistic approach to education, addressing both cognitive and social-emotional development.
