This school is seeking a full-time teaching assistant for KS1 through KS2 with experience working with students requiring extra support within the classroom. You will work with the class teacher to ensure students receive the necessary support, promote independence, and encourage social inclusion. The role involves organising and facilitating a stimulating learning environment, collaborating with a welcoming department that values teamwork and co-planning to ensure best practices and consistency across classrooms.
Ideal candidates will have experience supporting students with additional needs, confidence in teaching and planning lessons, and familiarity with the current curriculum. They should be capable of implementing behavioural and emotional management strategies, supporting the work of the teacher, and helping pupils achieve their goals. Candidates should also be resourceful in finding materials to support student achievement and be able to tailor support for different year groups.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
