Pear Tree High School in Stockport is recruiting Teaching Assistants Level 1 SEN to join our dedicated team. The role supports students with complex learning needs, working with teachers and specialists to promote inclusion and progress across the school day.

The post is full-time during term time plus 5 INSET days, 35 hours per week, with a pro-rata starting salary of £22,730 and full-time equivalent of £26,427.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of child development and learning.
• Holds Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Committed to continuous learning and development.
• Experience supporting children with complex needs is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support small groups and individual students with learning activities.
• Build positive relationships and promote inclusion for all pupils.
• Assist with personal care and wellbeing needs where required.
• Provide feedback to teachers and track student progress.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
