Job summary

Stocklake Park School in Aylesbury is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant (Range 2) to support pupils with special educational needs. The role is part-time (32.5 hours per week) across Monday to Friday during term time, working under teaching staff to enable access to learning.

The post offers a permanent contract and a supportive, professional environment with ongoing SEN training and development opportunities. Visits to the school are welcome.

Qualifications

• Support pupils with SEN to ensure their safety, inclusion, and engagement in learning activities.
• Assist with individualized programmes, including Therapy and Personal Care Plans, and carry out clinical procedures following training and competency sign-off.
• Build positive, constructive relationships with pupils, promoting independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and achievement under teacher guidance.

Responsibilities
