Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS1–KS2 students with additional needs in a London school. The role involves working with the class teacher to deliver targeted activities and promote independent learning.

You will help maintain an inclusive, stimulating classroom, applying behavioural strategies and staying aligned with the current curriculum to meet term goals. This is a full-time, on-site post with safeguarding at its core.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs in a classroom setting.
• Ability to implement strategies to promote inclusion and independent learning.
• Familiarity with current UK curriculum and assessment expectations.

Responsibilities

• Work with KS1–KS2 pupils requiring extra in-class support.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver targeted activities.
• Support social inclusion and the learning environment in class.
