Job summary

Stocklake Park School in Aylesbury is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a class and help deliver lessons for students with complex needs. You will work alongside the class teacher to plan, prepare resources and foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.

Role involves developing education and personal care plans, including hygiene needs and administering medication when required, and leading classes during non-contact time or short-term absences. Term-time pattern with INSET days.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN.
• Ability to work independently and with professionals to implement recommendations.
• Comfort using ICT to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Support lesson planning, resource preparation, and create a positive learning environment.
• Develop and implement individual education and personal care plans, including hygiene needs and administering medication when required.
• Lead whole classes during non-contact time or short-term absences.
