Job summary

Protocol Education Limited in Romford is recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time roles across mainstream primary schools. You will support pupils with their learning, development, communication, behaviour and wider educational needs, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

The role requires prior SEN experience, patience and resilience, strong teamwork and communication skills. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to help pupils reach their full potential,

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people with SEN is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups would be highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of different SEN needs and the ability to adapt your approach to individual pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning, development, communication, behaviour and wider educational needs.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils.
• Assist on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to meet individual learning goals.
• Help pupils reach their full potential and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
