Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN in a welcoming school environment from September. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, assist with differentiated activities, and help implement EHCPs and personalized learning strategies.

Qualifications

  • Has experience working in SEN education.
  • Holds a valid enhanced DBS.
  • Adaptable to different year groups.

  • Available for full-time work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated activities.
  • Support EHCPs and personalized learning strategies.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff/parents.
  • Collaborate with therapists and professionals to meet needs.
  • Support personal care and wellbeing as required.
