Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to join our Nottingham network with immediate starts. Roles range from day-to-day supply to long-term support, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

We partner with Greenwood Academies Trust and LEAD Academy Trust to provide exclusive vacancies and ongoing CPD. Weekly PAYE payments are available, with dedicated education recruitment support to help you find the right assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Qualifications Level 2/3 TA or CACHE, or relevant hands-on experience.
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to student support.
• Assist with differentiated learning activities and EHCPs.
• Strong behaviour management and calm demeanour in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND students in classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to monitor student progress.
• Deliver differentiated activities aligned to EHCPs and individual needs.

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND TAs to join our growing network of support staff across the Nottingham area, with immediate opportunities available.

We are working in partnership with Greenwood Academies Trust and LEAD Academy Trust offering a range of opportunities from day-to-day supply to long-term support roles.

We're looking for Teaching Assistants who:

• Have previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) or relevant hands‑on experience
• Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to student support
• Can assist with differentiated learning activities and support individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and a calm demeanour in challenging situations
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to support student progress
