Job summary

You will support students with learning difficulties, ASD, or complex needs, in one-to-one or small-group settings, and assist with lesson planning and delivery. The school emphasises safeguarding and provides supportive leadership and resources.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Clear and up-to-date DBS.
• Experience working as a teaching assistant.
• Patient, kind attitude with a passion to support SEN students and an interest in child development.

Responsibilities

• Working with and supporting students with learning difficulties and complex needs, either one‑on‑one or in small groups.
• Providing academic support and assisting with lesson delivery.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
• Willingness to undertake personal care when required.
