Job summary

Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi-Academy Company is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs across its primary and secondary schools. The Supply Register, in partnership with the Trust, is recruiting on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis, offering flexible roles to match your availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally supporting those with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience within a classroom, care, youth work, residential or support setting is desirable.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to promoting inclusion and positive outcomes.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCOs and wider school staff.
• A commitment to supporting the values and ethos of Catholic education.

Responsibilities

• As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENDCOs and wider school teams to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs.
• You will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil is supported to thrive academically, socially and personally.
