Job summary

Stillington Primary School is seeking a General Teaching Assistant (SEND) to support Year 3/4 pupils with SEN needs. The role includes aiding lesson preparation, supporting learning, and supervising lunchtime activities in a small rural school.

Desirable is a Level 2/3 TA qualification or willingness to complete; experience with SEMH needs and strong teamwork are valued. You will work closely with staff to promote pupil well-being and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable or willingness to complete it.
• Experience with SEMH needs desirable.
• Ability to work in a small rural school and support pupils’ learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning and assist the teacher in planning activities and lessons.
• Assist with lunchtime supervision and organise play activities at break times.
• Engage positively with pupils and other stakeholders to promote well-being.
