Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment in Oldham is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school. You will work with teaching staff to help students access learning, stay engaged and make progress.

The role is long-term with a September start, paying £100–£120 per day. Qualifications include Level 3 TA or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, DBS and right to work in the UK. Ongoing CPD and a dedicated consultant are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification is essential.
• Experience working with children/young people in education is required.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4.
• One-to-one and small-group support.
• Assist teaching staff with classroom routines and activities.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional needs.
