Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Redbourn, supporting pupils across primary and secondary age groups. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a temporary period leading to permanent placement.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and additional SEN needs.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Helping pupils engage with learning and classroom activities.
• Supporting pupils with their social and emotional development.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining a calm learning environment.
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.
• Following individual support plans and school policies.
