Job summary

Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD in a rural Ashburton setting. The role offers school hours, 1:1 and small-group support, and a chance to contribute to inclusive learning.

You'll work closely with teachers to deliver differentiated lessons, implement positive behaviour strategies, and help pupils reach their academic and social-emotional potential in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD.
• Ability to work with small groups and one-to-one.
• Experience with behaviour strategies (PRICE or TeamTeach desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and work with small groups.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help implement positive behaviour strategies.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
