Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with additional needs across schools in Doncaster, with opportunities to travel to Rotherham and Barnsley. The role offers flexible hours: full-time, part-time, or flexible arrangements, with competitive pay dependent on experience.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils academically and emotionally, and work with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored

Qualifications

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to schools across Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
