Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in Doncaster (DN5). Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
• Patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teachers and SENCOs.
• Genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers to promote progress and wellbeing.
• Encourage pupil confidence, independence and participation in school life.
