Job description

We are seeking an outstanding SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced, compassionate, and proactive professional who is committed to delivering exceptional support and raising outcomes for children with additional needs.

✨ The Role:
  • Provide high-quality, tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education and behaviour plans
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, ensuring access to the curriculum and emotional wellbeing
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour through consistent, nurturing practice
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress tracking
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, patience, and emotional intelligence
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
  • Highly reliable, professional, and passionate about inclusive education
  • Able to work collaboratively while also showing initiative and adaptability
