Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with children with complex needs and disabilities, including MLD, PMLD, physical needs, and other SEN conditions.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting pupils with SEN requirements, additional needs, or disabilities. Confidence in working with children with autism, cerebral palsy, MLD, SpLD, or other SEN barriers is essential. Experience with communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, BSL is desirable. The role involves supporting children who require personal care, lifting, and physical support.

The Role:

Working with pupils aged 11 to 19 in a large specialist SEN school, responsibilities include supporting multiple classes, one-to-one assistance, and small group support.
