Teaching Personnel are currently working with an SEN school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a full-time, 1-1 Teaching Assistant. This is a specialist SEN school working to support children between the ages of 11-16 with a range of complex needs. They are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young students.
The role:
You will work closely on a one-to-one basis with a designated pupil, providing consistent academic, emotional, and behavioural support tailored to their individual education and healthcare plan (EHCP). You will help facilitate access to the curriculum, promote independence, and assist in implementing strategies from specialists such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists. Your responsibilities will include supporting classroom activities, preparing learning materials, monitoring progress, and contributing to daily assessments and communication logs. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a flexible, patient attitude are essential, as is a genuine passion for helping young people thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
