Job summary

Justteachers are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist schools across Birmingham. These rewarding roles involve supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, ADHD, and other complex learning needs from primary to secondary ages.

Start dates from September 2026, with earlier starts for outstanding candidates. You will work under supervision to deliver high-quality support in class, small groups and one-to-one settings, helping pupils build independence, confidence and positive learning

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
• SEN setting experience is highly desirable.
• Patient, proactive, and resilient personality.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to challenging situations positively.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete compliance checks
