Job summary

CAMHS Professionals Ltd. is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible bank/supply roles in Bexley/Greenwich.

You will support pupils with a range of needs, delivering 1:1 and small-group help and assisting with lessons to promote inclusion and learning access. Ideal candidates will have prior SEN experience or passion for supporting children, with strong communication and teamwork abilities and willingness to undertake safeguarding checks.

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop essential life skills and reach their full potential.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD and other additional needs.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.
• Supporting pupils with personal care where required.
• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• The ability to work flexibly across different schools and provisions.
• A willingness to undertake relevant safeguarding and compliance checks.

Experience supporting pupils with complex needs are advantageous, but we welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and a genuine passion for SEN.
