Randstad UK in Exeter seeks a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for its flexible supply bank. You will support pupils with diverse needs across mainstream and specialist settings, choosing your days and hours to fit your lifestyle and school requirements.

Role offers term-time hours (08:30–15:30) with weekly PAYE pay, and the chance to gain rewarding classroom experience while helping students thrive in inclusive environments.

Formación

• Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
• A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
• Relevant training or qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Team-Teach, Makaton, PECS) are advantageous but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

SEN Teaching Assistant - Flexible Supply Bank (Exeter)

Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, or do you have a background in care and support work? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Exeter supply bank. This is your opportunity to gain rewarding classroom-based experience with the freedom to choose your own schedule.

About the Role

As a Bank/Supply Staff member, you will support a variety of mainstream schools, SEN specialist provisions, and alternative learning centres across Exeter and the surrounding areas. Whether you are looking to work one day a week or five, this flexible role allows you to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
