CASSIDY RECRUITMENT LTD is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for several specialist SEN schools in East London. You will support primary and secondary students with learning disabilities and autism, providing 1:1 and small group help while assisting teachers in lesson delivery.

Ideal candidates show patience, strong communication, reliability and a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential in an inclusive environment. DBS checks are typically required.

Responsibilities

SEN Teaching Assistants required for several SEN schools in East London.

We are currently working with a number of specialist SEN schools across East London who are looking to recruit enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

Our partner schools support primary and secondary-aged students with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and additional special educational needs.

With multiple opportunities available, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other education professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting primary and secondary-aged students with learning disabilities and additional needs.
• Providing individualised 1:1 and small group support.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Supporting students with autism, communication difficulties and complex needs.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.

• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other education professionals.
