Job summary

Randstad Staffing’s client in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant/Autism Support Worker to join a warm, supportive team. This full-time, permanent role offers term-time only hours (08:30–16:00) and a favourable perks package, with on-site meals and funded qualifications to help you grow.

You will support children aged 5–16 with complex needs, assist the class teacher, and help learners access the curriculum while supporting their emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at pass grade (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in care, childcare, education or SEN.
• Ability to engage learners through personal interests.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN learners 1:1 and in small groups.
• Help students access curriculum and pastoral needs.
• Assist class teacher with lesson delivery and prep.
• Supervise pupils at breaks to promote social interaction.
