Job summary

Randstad Staffing in Horley is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children aged 5 to 16 with complex needs in a leading specialist school. You will join a welcoming team and benefit from on-site meals, free parking, and funded professional development.

Working hours are 08:30–16:00, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a permanent, full-time contract and ongoing pay reviews to reward dedication and impact.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at pass grade (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
• Experience in care, childcare, education, or SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support complex SEN learners on a 1:1 and small group basis throughout the day.
• Help learners access the curriculum while supporting their pastoral and emotional needs.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom prep, and maintaining a smooth learning environment.
• Supervise pupils during break times and lunchtimes to promote social interaction.
