Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a permanent role in Billingshurst. You will support children aged 5 to 16 with complex needs, 1:1 and small group work, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at pass grade (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
• Eligibility: Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in care, childcare, education, or SEN backgrounds desirable.
• Ability to use personal interests to engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Support complex SEN learners on 1:1 and small group basis.
• Help students access the curriculum while addressing pastoral needs.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom prep.
• Supervise pupils during breaks to promote social interaction.
