Job summary

Priory School, Lewes, East Sussex, is seeking two temporary Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs, including autism, across lessons in the main school and the Oak Centre. The roles are 30 hours per week, term-time only, with pro rata salary.

You will work with excellent SEN professionals, assist in 1:1 and small group work, and help create inclusive learning experiences for both primary and secondary level tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, including autism.
• Proactive behaviour management skills and adaptable teaching styles.
• Ability to deliver1:1 and small group lessons at the Oak Centre and mainstream lessons.

Responsibilities

• Support Oak students in mainstream lessons and at the Oak Centre.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group teaching as required.
• Collaborate with SEN professionals and teachers to support learning.
