Job summary

Priory School in Lewes is seeking two temporary Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, in particular autism. The roles are based on the Oak Centre (ASC Support Centre) and involve assisting students in mainstream lessons as well as delivering 1:1 and small group sessions.

You will work with outstanding SEN professionals, demonstrate proactive behaviour management, and adapt teaching styles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Proven ability to support students with autism.
• Proactive behaviour management skills and adaptable teaching styles.

Responsibilities

• Support Oak Centre (ASC) pupils in mainstream lessons.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions as required.
• Assist with taking part in lesson delivery and pupil supervision.
