Job summary

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is located in Southwark, London, within a specialist SEN setting. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and progress towards their EHCP outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is required.
• Experience working with autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD or complex needs is desirable.
• Confident in supporting communication, behaviour and learning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils to aid access to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils aged 4-19.
• Work with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet EHCP outcomes.
• Promote independence and positive behaviour in a structured environment.
