Job Title: Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Portsmouth
The school is based in the Basingstoke area for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 100 students in total. The Teaching Assistant role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at supporting both students and teachers. You will actively engage in the learning process by collaborating closely with teaching staff to assist in planning and delivering lessons across various subjects. Your role will involve providing personalised support to students, including those with special educational needs, to ensure they receive the attention and guidance necessary for their academic progress. This will include both one-on-one sessions and small group activities, fostering an environment where every student feels supported and empowered to succeed. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of learning materials, aid in behaviour management, and assist in tracking and assessing student progress, playing a pivotal role in the holistic development of our students within the school community.
