Supply Desk is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Basingstoke-area school on a long-term contract. The role starts ASAP, with a daily rate of £85.50–£97 depending on experience. Hours are 08:30–15:30, with a supportive, collaborative team and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Create learning materials and resources.
• Assist in behaviour management and maintain a respectful classroom.
• Track and assess student progress.
