TeacherActive is seeking SEND Support Staff to assist primary pupils with additional needs in Wakefield and surrounding areas. TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream primary schools across Wakefield and the surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced SEND Support Staff to work with pupils who require additional support to access learning and thrive within a mainstream school environment.
We have day-to-day and longer-term opportunities available across KS1 and KS2. Roles may include supporting individual pupils on a 1:1 basis, delivering small-group interventions or providing additional support within the classroom.
As SEND Support Staff, you may work with pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism/ASC, ADHD, communication difficulties and social, emotional or behavioural needs. You will work closely with class teachers and school SEND teams to provide consistent and individualised support.
